Heavy rain causes flooded roads in Howell County, Mo.

WEST PLAINS, Mo. (KY3) – The Howell County Sheriff’s Office urges drivers to avoid low water crossings.

Several centimeters of rain fell in the area on Monday morning. Officials report water on several roads, including:

  • County Road 8630
  • County Road 9100
  • County Road 1280
  • County Road 2010
  • County Road 5130
  • State Highways MM and K

The city of West Plains reported several streets under water around noon. These include:

  • Bratton Avenue
  • Howell Boulevard
  • 1.-10. Street
  • Sunset Terrace
  • Lanton Road
  • Lincoln’s
  • St. Louis Street
  • Washington Boulevard
  • Jefferson Boulevard
