MIAMI (WSVN) – Police are investigating an alleged shooting in Miami.

Miami Police, along with Crime Scene Investigation units, were seen conducting an investigation Monday morning in response to reports of a shooting at 1064 West Flagler Street.

The investigation focused primarily on the rear exits of businesses in the area.

Police arrived at the scene and found a person shot.

A spokesman for the police said the man was alert and conscious.

He was taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unclear.

It is unknown what led to the conflict.
