PM Modi: This Election Will Signal the Overthrow of JMM Government

Prime Minister Modi said that Jharkhand will play a crucial role in realizing the goal of Viksit Bharat.

Ranchi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the BJP’s massive poll blitz in Jharkhand on Monday, launching a scathing attack on the Hemant Soren government, accusing it of “obstructing” the development of the tribal state.

Addressing a mega rally in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district, PM Modi said the upcoming elections will mark the ouster of the JMM government and added that the BJP will form the next twin-engine government in the state.

He also urged the party workers and volunteers to put in hard efforts to strengthen the party even at the booth level and ensure the victory of the BJP in the Assembly elections.

“Today, one slogan echoes across the state: ‘roti, beti and maati’ ki pukaar,” PM Modi said.

Stating that the next twenty years are very important for both the state and the country, Prime Minister Modi said that the state will play a very important role in realizing the goal of Viksit Bharat.

Emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to the development of Jharkhand, Prime Minister Modi said that the BJP government has laid the foundation of a separate state to place Jharkhand on a pedestal of rapid growth and at the same time provide prosperity to its people.

“It is the Hemant government that has put obstacles in the path of development,” PM Modi added.

The Chief Minister also heaped praise on BJP’s Sankalp Patra for Jharkhand and said the welfare and safety of women residents are the party’s top priorities.

Talking about schemes like Gogo Didi Yojana (Rs 2,100 per month for women) and Rs 500 gas cylinders proposed by the BJP for Jharkhand, he said these would empower women in the state like the Centre’s flagship Ujjawala Yojana.

He also posed for photos with INDIA block parties and accused them of betraying the people with false promises.

“BJP has a track record of delivering on its guarantees, while JMM, Congress and others are a bunch of liars who fool people with false promises,” he said amid loud cheers from people.

He further said, “They may announce numerous schemes but they can never match the honesty, integrity and honesty of the BJP dispensations.”

The Prime Minister also conveyed Chhath greetings to the people of Jharkhand, who have started preparations to celebrate the four-day festival.
