Woman MP Stabs Husband’s First Wife More than 50 Times After Dispute in Rewa

A woman seriously injured her husband’s first wife by stabbing her more than 50 times after an argument in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district. Mansi, 22, and Jaya, 26, are married to Rambabu Verma. According to police, the incident took place on October 31, Diwali, when a dispute between Mansi and Jaya turned violent.

In anger, Mansi stabbed Jaya more than 50 times. Soon after, Jaya was rushed to a hospital where her condition was reported to be critical. Following the information, the police reached the spot and detained Mansi, charging him under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

According to India Today, police confirmed that Jaya was married to Rambabu Verma in 2019. However, Verma married Mansi in 2021 due to health issues.

Senior police officer Udit Mishra stated that a case has been filed and said, “The frequent disturbance of Rambabu’s first wife Jaya caused him to marry Manasi. In addition to our investigation, we are waiting for the victim’s statement.”

Youths Stabbed a 35-Year-Old Man 50 Times in Delhi’s Jafrabad

In a separate incident, a 35-year-old man was stabbed allegedly by four youths in Northeast Delhi’s Jafrabad area on May 6. According to police reports, the attack took place at 18.45 on Sunday. All 4 of the attackers were arrested regarding the incident.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead, police said. They added that Nazir was stabbed about 50 times. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Joy Tirkey said that a team from Jafrabad police station detained four children in connection with the incident on Monday, PTI reported.

More information about Nazir’s past has been revealed and it has been revealed that he was involved in numerous cases of robbery and attempted murder. DCP Tirkey said the suspects admitted that they targeted Nazir because he had threatened one of them just two days before the fatal attack. According to PTI, this detail provides insight into the potential reasons behind the tragedy.

Another police officer stated that the interrogation of the young people was continuing because the police suspected that they might have been directed by another person to commit the murder. This suspicion is linked to Nazir’s role as a witness in his brother’s murder case and complicates the investigation.
