Famous New York social media personality Kai Cenat, who built his career by livestreaming on Twitch, claims that he was the victim of another scam scheme.

Posting a photo of the police at the “Mafiathon” mansion on X, he said: “I’m getting hit (shaking my head) hold on tight I should be out.”

In the comments section of this post, one of her followers reacted to a news story by sharing what appeared to be Kai on livestream. The helicopter was circling his house.

FOX 5 Atlanta has reached out to local officials to independently verify his claim and is still awaiting a response. But this wouldn’t be the first time the 22-year-old multi-millionaire has been attacked.

In November 2022, Kai was also broadcasting when he received a phone call that caused him to immediately stand up and say, “Emergency. Emergency. I’ll be right back.”

He looked miserable when he returned to his computer.

Responding to his subscribers who contacted him via live chat, he said, “Six in the morning is crazy, brother. Yes, I hit it, brother.” “I give them credit for being as calm as possible, bro, but six in the morning (sic) is crazy. You all got it, bro. You all got it, bro.”

What is a swatting call?

Swatting is a type of prank in which someone falsely reports a serious emergency, such as a bomb threat, murder, or hostage situation, and directs law enforcement or emergency services, especially a SWAT team, to a specific address. This is done to upset or harm the person at the given address who is unaware of the false report.

It is extremely dangerous and can potentially lead to property damage, injury or even death, as well as a waste of police resources.

Georgia Swatting Act

Beating is a serious crime in Georgia. A perpetrator who makes a fraudulent call from the Peach State may face the following consequences:

On July 1, 2024, Georgia Senate Bill 421 Penalties for those behind false alarms have been increased and come into force. It is a legal requirement in the state of Georgia that perpetrators pay for damages resulting from their actions.

In Kai’s lawsuit in 2024, he claimed that Twitch banned his account mid-stream.

About 14 minutes later, he posted again, inviting his fans to come back and saying that his “ban has been lifted.” It’s unclear how much money he makes per live stream or how much he stands to lose while he’s offline.

The new law also defines a first offense against a residence or place of worship as a felony. This measure also increased the harsh penalty for second offenses and increased the minimum prison sentence to five years instead of one year. It also added stronger penalties for a third offense, calling for 10 to 15 years in prison.
