FARMINGTON, Utah – A young woman who went missing this weekend has been found dead in the mountains above Farmington.

19-year-old Mia Casto was reported missing by her family around 12.40pm on Saturday. According to the missing person flyer, he was last seen leaving his home in Farmington the day before the report.

Farmington Police said his body was found Sunday around 3 p.m. in the Rudd Creek area of ​​uptown. The multi-agency search included tracking dogs, drones, helicopters, the Davis County Search and Rescue Team and other investigative resources.

As of Sunday evening, police had no leads on how Casto died. Authorities also said there was no sign of foul play.
