ST. LOUIS – Blues defenseman Philip Broberg He left Saturday night’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs with a lower-body injury in the second period.

Broberg crashes ahead of Maple Leafs Mitch Marner At 8:08 in the fight for the puck. Marner landed on Broberg’s right leg, and Broberg was unable to put much weight on the leg as he was carried off the ice to the Blues locker room.

The team announced later in the period that Broberg would not return to the game. Blues coach Drew Bannister had no update on Broberg’s status. Blues beat Maple Leafs 4-2.
