New York City’s Grand Central Terminal just got even more stunning just in time for the holidays.

The transit center, known for its striking architecture and rich history, recently opened big pub — A new restaurant that creates the perfect combination of New York and Parisian bistro charm. The massive yet inviting space consists of a 300-seat main dining room with a spacious bar and an additional, more intimate 100-seat bar known as the Green Room.

Against the ornate elegance of Vanderbilt Hall, your eye is immediately drawn to the striking red leather banquettes as well as the elegant backlit bars displaying an array of beautiful bottles.

Designed by Rockwell Group and opened in October, the restaurant is helmed by Executive Chef Guillaume Thivet, who was most recently the executive chef of the now-closed Verōnika at the Fotografiska museum and honed his expertise in French cuisine at La Grande Boucherie. among others.

Standout dishes include brioche toast and foie gras mousse with cherry gelato, grilled onion soup, tuna tartare with French dressing and soy-lime sauce, as well as a wine list of more than 400 labels.
