Hyundai Creta EV: Exterior design

The upcoming all-electric Creta will look very similar to its internal combustion engine counterpart, especially after the major facelift in January this year. The electric version will inherit the same front fascia with a distinctive jewel-themed grille and split lighting setup with dual projector LED headlights and dual LED daytime running lights. The side profile and rear are also expected to reflect the design of the current Creta. However, the electric model will differentiate itself with unique dual-tone, machine-cut 17-inch alloy wheels.

Hyundai Creta EV: Interiors and Features

Latest spy photos have offered a glimpse of the interior of the upcoming Creta EV. The cabin layout looks largely the same as its combustion-engined sibling. It is expected to have a dual-screen setup consisting of a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument panel.

The two-spoke steering wheel equipped with various control buttons also remains. However, there is a notable difference in the drive selector, which is conveniently mounted on the steering column. While most of the control panel remains hidden, more details can only be determined once a clearer view becomes available.

Hyundai Creta EV: The expected powertrain

Hyundai has remained tight-lipped about the specific battery details of the Creta EV. However, it is estimated that a 45 kWh battery will be used, similar to the entry-level Kona EV. This configuration is expected to offer a driving range of approximately 450 km with a power output of 138 hp and 255 Nm of torque. While the ZS EV uses a 50.3 kWh battery, the upcoming Maruti eVX will be available in two battery options: 48 kWh and 60 kWh. Curvv EV also offers two battery options: 45 kWh and 55 kWh.
