Friends and families gathered at the PCEA County Church in Kitengela to witness the union of James Njuguna and Ruffi Tabu.

The adorable lovebirds’ ceremony was officiated by Pastor Obonyo, a deaf man of God, who guided them to the sacred matrimonial estate.

Tabu briefly explained how she met the love of her life, unaware that one day they would become husband and wife.

“We met at his workplace, EPZ. I didn’t know him then. He had been my close friend for about a year. We used to talk, but I didn’t realize he wanted me. We got along well. We became good and good friends.

The first time he asked me to be his girlfriend, I told him it was impossible, but as time went on, that changed. I was surprised that he loved me and we continued that way until today,” said Tabu excitedly.

According to lawyer Wahome Thuku, who brought their story to light, the duo had a modest budget and invited other Kenyans to celebrate with a sweet video.
