STEWARTVILLE, Minn. (KTTC) – A winding summer in northwest Stewartville has finally come to an end.

The Olmsted County Road 35 bridge over Interstate 90 reopened to traffic Saturday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation confirmed.

Construction began in early July, with the road’s replacement bridge reopening on Saturday morning. A temporary closure is currently underway while crews install decorative railings, and that work is expected to be completed this month.
