First Alert Weather: Pleasant November weather to end the weekend

We have all the right ingredients for one of the coldest nights of the year. A large high pressure system will provide clear skies, light winds and a dry atmosphere. Widespread frost will occur in most areas later on Saturday night. Temperatures will drop into the lower 30s, but many communities south of the New York State Flyway will see the mercury drop into the upper 20s. Also, do not forget to set the clocks back one hour as we will switch to standard time at 02:00 at night.

The same atmospheric conditions will bring more sunshine to round out the first weekend of November. There will be plenty of sunshine and a light breeze on Sunday. It will be a pleasant afternoon with high temperatures in the mid-50s. If you’re heading to the Bills game at Highmark Stadium on Sunday afternoon, it’s going to be a nearly perfect day for football. It will be dry, sunny and warm. It will be cold for the “tailgaters,” but temperatures will be in the low 50s at game start time.

Then the temperatures start to arrive on Monday and Tuesday. Both days will bring cloudy and sunny weather. Temperatures will reach the mid-60s on Monday and will likely be near the record of 77 degrees (set in 2022) on Tuesday. It’s worth noting that no weather problems are expected for Election Day.
