Capaldi threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Mekai Felton with 5:23 left to cap an 11-play, 90-yard drive that took 5:19 to give Fordham (1-8, 1-3 Patriot League) its first lead. game.

Colgate’s final drive lasted just 21 yards in eight plays and the Raiders punted. Fordham ran six plays before being forced to punt with 1:36 left. However, Colgate was called for roughing the punter and the penalty gave the ball back to Fordham, which killed time.

The Raiders (2-7, 1-2) took over on a short field goal on the second play of Fordham’s earlier drive when Brody Hock fumbled a fumble to Trip Holley that Christian Magliacano recovered at the 10.
