“Everyone wants to create alternative payment mechanisms, interbank agreements using national currencies and insurance mechanisms that will not be directed against the system that developed around the dollar as the cornerstone after the Second World War,” Lavrov said. he said.

“Such a task was also on the agenda of the BRICS Summit in Kazan and in meetings held throughout the year between finance ministers, central bank governors. Recommendations have already been developed; not final, but already reliable, durable and long-term systems,” he added.
