Week 10 of the College Football Season is upon us and we continue to take a look at top prospects looking to boost their stock and whose skillset could be a good fit for the New York Giants. Here are five prospect lists we recommend you consider this week.

Will Howard is having a solid senior season with the Ohio State Buckeyes. He runs his attacks well and effectively.

Howard has good arm strength and athleticism to make plays with his legs when the play breaks down. Penn State’s defense will be his biggest test this season (until Michigan).

The Nittany Lions have pass rushers when healthy and a talented secondary. Howard must set out in a hostile environment and make the necessary moves to lead his team to victory.

Whether that’s scrambling to avoid a pass rush, checking the football down to down options, or QB-designing runs in the low red zone. Howard has the physical ability to make a difference in this game.

Tyler Baron is one of college football’s overlooked pass rushers. Baron, who transferred to Miami from Tennessee, is having a strong season; seven sacks, five quarterback hits, 23 rushes/pressures and a 17% pass win rate.

Actual pass back win rate increases from 17% to 27.4%. Baron has plenty of passing maneuvers in his bag to gain inside and outside routes to the quarterback.

Against a Duke offense trying to balance itself offensively. Baron should play the run first and help get the Blue Devils into obvious/real drop-back passing situations so he can prick up his ears. He can continue to build his 2025 NFL Draft stock this weekend.

Aireontae Ersery’s draft stock has increased since the summer. Considered a second-day prospect, he could be drafted late in the 1st round.

Ersery has a matchup against a tough Illinois defensive front. Illinois’ top defensive player is Gabe Jacas, who presents a tough challenge for Ersery this weekend.

Jacas is a talented pass rusher who uses his hands well to open a path to the quarterback. Ersery struggled with low-leverage rushers like Jacas. This is a big game for him to continue solidifying his status as a potential 1st round extension.

Derrick Harmon is shining with newfound light on Oregon’s defensive front. Harmon has the build and strength of a traditional nose tackle, but has the movement skills of a 3-technique pass-rushing IDL.

The BIG Ten is preparing to face one of Michigan’s more consistent and physical running teams. To make them one-dimensional, Harmon will need to deal with Michigan’s rushing attack, which plays into the Ducks’ defensive hands. If so, Harmon can showcase his ability to rush the passer and make a three-pointer.

Jalon Walker is one of the best players in college football! He is a versatile defender who plays as both an off-ball defender and attacker.

Walker will face a true freshman point guard in 5-star recruit DJ Lagway. I expect Walker to pair up with Mykel Williams to torment the young signal caller.

He could get high marks as a stand-alone defender, but his passing ability and upside add even more positive points to his draft profile!
