The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves played a very exciting game at Target Center on Friday night. These two teams have had great battles over the years, including last season’s Western Conference Semifinals.

Minnesota defeated the Nuggets in seven games last season, and Denver entered this game hoping to win against their conference rivals in the rematch. While the Nuggets could not win in this match and fell to 119-116 in the final, Denver guard Christian Braun played one of the best games of the season.

Braun, who was eligible to dunk on four-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert, made the two-handed shot that led to a double technical foul on himself and Gobert.

This dunk went viral on social media, with many major sports channels airing the featured play.

After Gobert made contact with the 23-year-old guard, Braun’s teammates immediately rushed to his defense. The referee team decided on a double technical foul and did not give free throws to either team because the technicians canceled each other.

The NBA world has been abuzz since Braun’s highlight play, and even though the season is still so young, it will likely be one of the best dunks of the year when it’s done.
