HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Multiple agencies are investigating the waters off East Oahu after receiving reports of a surfer missing Friday night.

HFD says a woman alerted them that her 24-year-old boyfriend was missing just before 7:15 p.m.

Firefighters and police respond to an area outside Sandy Beach Park.

HFD’s search helicopter was seen flying over Sandy Beach and Hanauma Bay around 8 p.m.
