KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A multiple vehicle crash in the area of ​​the 210 Freeway caused travel to be closed in both directions Friday evening.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said the 210 Freeway at EE Highway was closed in both directions shortly after 5:30 p.m.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said the multi-vehicle crash also included injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation into the crash, authorities said.
