All murals are now complete.

Local artist Bob Peck wants the colors of his mural on Pearl Road in Old Brooklyn to pop off the wall.

“I see a lot of old architecture and a lot of muted tones, and I thought let’s bring in some vibrant colors. So I wanted a nature tone, sky and grass and blues and greens like that,” Peck said.

Selected from 150 artists, Peck said he was honored to be part of the six artists selected to commission work: “It’s so cool to walk around the city right now and see all the artists participating. I actually have one right next to my piece by Isaiah Williams, so I walk past it every day.” ” said Peck.

Isaiah Williams is also one of the selected artists.

“I always look forward to and strive to make art that is beautiful and tells the story of meaningful people…the many stories that we have here in Cleveland,” Williams said. he said.

William’s work on the old Case School side features a cardinal, Ohio’s state bird, and the culture of the downtown neighborhood.

“I know there is a mission to bring this building back to life and give it a new purpose for the community,” Williams said.

In the Lee-Harvard neighborhood, Artist Stina Aleah scattered her design liberally along the side of a building on busy Lee Road.

“If you look at the mural closely, if you see it closely,” Aleah said. “Some of these headlines, these torn headlines from the newspapers, are very specific to the Lee-Harvard neighborhood. Some of them, in particular, are about community revitalization and things like that.” he said.
