Traffic flow on the Missouri River Bridge in Jefferson City will soon return to normal.

On July 8, Missouri Department of Transportation crews began work on the Highway 54 overpasses at Highway 50 and McCarty Street.

This resulted in traffic being reduced to a single lane in both directions at times and many entrance and exit ramps being closed.

Starting the week of November 4, all lanes of Highway 54 will be open. Additionally, all ramps to and from the highway will be open.

There may be some overnight lane closures on Highway 50 below Highway 54.
