How to watch Christmas TV specials and movies?

Charlie Brown. Rudolph. Frosty. Father christmas. The team returns for Christmas 2024.

We entered the season animated Christmas TV classics and favorites Productions such as “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Frosty the Snowman” will soon be released on TV screens.

A few have traditionally aired on network TV or cable, while others will be available to stream.

Some network and cable channels and streaming services have already released schedules for when beloved holiday TV movie traditions will air or be available to watch for free. Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas schedule again full of favorites.

Like the last few yearsYou’ll have to look a little harder to find Charlie Brown, Snoopy and their Peanuts friends.

Here’s when and where to catch some of the classics released during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Many specials will air multiple times across several channels, so check TV listings for additional times. Also check back as we update the list with more special events and broadcast times.

‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’

Apple TV+ still owns the rights to “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” so you won’t find it on television this year. But, AppleTV+ non-subscribers will be allowed to watch”“A Charlie Brown Christmas” is free on December 14 and December 15.

The 1965 classic follows Charlie Brown as he tries to find a deeper meaning to Christmas.

‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’

Will sad Santa cancel Christmas? We’re not sure when we’ll find out this year, but “The Year Without Santa” airs on AMC in 2023. A time has not been announced yet.

‘Little Drummer Boy’

“The Little Drummer Boy” is based on the song of the same name, but the 1968 TV special details the young drummer’s emotional journey and the only gift he can offer a baby who can help heal his injured lamb.
