A fatal car crash has closed a two-lane highway in Johnston County.

The incident occurred on Highway 50 at Stephenson Road. Just south of McGee Junction.

Chopper 11 flew over the scene and saw a white car overturned on the side of the highway.

Emergency crews closed the road. It is unclear how long the area will remain closed.
