A 77-year-old woman died Thursday after colliding with another vehicle in McLeod County.

The accident report from the Minnesota State Patrol stated that the incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. on Minnesota Highway 7 at Vale Boulevard near Acoma Township.

Audrey Lankey, 77, of Hutchinson was driving eastbound in her 2019 Ford Ecosport when her vehicle collided with a westbound Ford F550.

As a result of the accident, Lankey was killed; The 29-year-old male driver of the F550 suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the roads were covered in snow and ice at the time of the crash, but did not say whether that played a role in the incident.
