The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in locating a pregnant woman and her four children who were abducted at gunpoint from a residence in northeast Brainerd around 1:50 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.
The kidnapped woman, Nikkole Dobson, is 33 years old. He is 6 feet, 7 inches tall, 198 pounds, with green eyes and reddish-brown hair. Their four children are Brandon (14), Haley (11), Gracie (7) and Chloe (3).

Dobson and her children were kidnapped by her boyfriend, Chad Aanerud, who is 35.6 feet, 2 inches tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Aanerud drives a white, 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan with license plate AEC 351, licensed from Minnesota.

Around 1:50 a.m., Aanerud arrived at a residence in the 15000 block of Loerch Road where Dobson and her children were staying. He fired a rifle into the ceiling of the residence and forced Dobson and his children to leave with him.
