Fiona Oliver from Wiltshire Community Foundation, which launched a fund for Women and Girls this year, said: “We applaud Robinson’s for its response in standing up for its staff.

The joint CEO said: “Harassment, stereotyping and discrimination targeting women and girls occurs far too frequently and is often referred to as harmless banter.

“The impact of this type of behavior can really impact victims.

“We should not be afraid to talk about these issues and call out inappropriate behavior,” Ms. Oliver added.

The charity is organizing a men’s alliance event on 22 November to raise awareness of gender inequality and discrimination.
