Pennsylvania could give Harris the White House; here’s how

play

In a tight race for the White House, only 93 electoral votes remain key swing states This election will determine your fate.

With 19 delegate votes, Pennsylvania became ground zero for both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. The outcome of the months-long battle in the Keystone State will be known after the polls close on Tuesday.

For Harris, capturing Pennsylvania would all but guarantee her path to the White House. Here’s why.

How many electoral votes does Harris need?

Currently, Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to receive 226 electoral votes from blue or blue-leaning states.

Former President Donald Trump can count 219 delegate votes in his column, according to current estimates.

That means Harris needs 44 more electoral votes to reach the required 270 points, and Pennsylvania’s 19 votes provide a significant boost toward that goal. Only 74 electoral votes will remain on the table, of which Trump will need to win 51 and Harris only 25.

Harris only had to take on Michigan (15) and Wisconsin (10) to break the 270 mark.

Will Pennsylvania vote for Harris?

Polls in battleground states There has been some back-and-forth, as the name suggests, of the “swing state,” with both former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris having had razor-thin margins at various times.

This indecision will likely continue on Election Day as votes are counted and candidates move back and forth
