MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) – A man suffered minor injuries when his truck rolled over on 8th Street in Moorhead Thursday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of 8th Street and 24th Street South around 9 a.m. for a crash. A white pickup truck that was shot at the intersection remained on its roof.

Moorhead Police say a vehicle traveling south on 8th Avenue failed to stop at a red light and struck a truck traveling west on 24th Avenue South. The pickup hit the rear passenger-side wheel well, causing it to roll onto its top.

There is major damage to the truck. Our Valley News Live reporter at the scene said the driver was bleeding from his leg but was up and walking around after the crash.

The other vehicle’s front bumper was damaged and the driver was ticketed for failing to run a red light.
