Police have renewed their appeal for people who were at attractions on the day of the fatal bus crash Stabbing in Auckland come forward.

Bernice Louise Marychurch attacked the bus In Onehunga on Wednesday last week.

Detective Inspector Alisse Robertson said police wanted to hear from people who were in certain areas of Onehunga and Panmure that day.

They were working to establish Marychurch’s movements on the day he died.

Locations include various bus stops and Woolworths Onehunga on 23 October.

Auckland City acting area commander Sunny Patel said police officers had increased patrols around major public transport hubs in the city since the attack.

“We know the community is understandably shaken following this horrific incident and we are committed to making sure people feel safe in our city.

“People should use public transportation freely without fear.”
