FRANKLIN CO., Kan. (KCTV/Gray News) – A man was pronounced dead after being trapped between heavy machinery near a farm in Kansas.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Office He said crews responded to reports of a medical emergency in an area northwest of Ottawa around 8:50 a.m. Saturday.

First responders found a 77-year-old man trapped under heavy machinery. Rescuers tried to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information, including the man’s identity, was released.
