Three people were found fatally shot Wednesday night in the Bronx in what is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide, according to police and sources.

The trio were found around 9 p.m. on Southern Avenue near Prospect Boulevard, with photos showing body bags being removed from a home and a gun next to a large pool of blood outside.

The NYPD said a man and a woman, both 57, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Both were shot in the head and the man was shot multiple times in the body, cops said.

A 34-year-old man was also found shot in the head.

He was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital.

According to sources, the young man was found with a gun next to him.

It was not immediately clear what kind of relationship the victims had with each other or what led to the shooting.

The incident was being treated as a murder-suicide, according to sources, but the NYPD said it was too early to tell.

Police said they were waiting for the identities of the victims to be notified to the family.
