ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) – Old Kellogg Road in Anderson County is closed due to a house fire early Thursday.

Flames broke out around 3:45 a.m. in the 8000 block of Old Kellogg Road.

Multiple fire crews responded and reported an active fire on the front porch toward the attic.

All firefighters were asked to be careful as there was still a power line in the house at that time.

While it was learned that the fire was extinguished in a short time, the teams investigated the scene.

It’s unclear when Old Kellogg Road will reopen.
