The holiday season is here! At least bazaars, handicraft shows, fairs and festivals are starting to gain momentum.

Check out five things to do this weekend:

Rodeo under the lights

Rocky Ridge Ranch, 4357 Ferguson Valley Road, McVeytown, homeowners “Friday Nights Under the Lights” First show of the 2025 season with Calves, Canned and Poles, exhibition at 5.30pm and show at 7pm open to ages 14 and under and juniors, poles, 3D kegs and breakaway. $5 exhibit. $20 class. Buyback available. Pee Wee for 8 and under posts and barrels. $10 class. You can find more information on Facebook. We are expecting spectators.

Bazaars, handicrafts, fairs and festivals

Singer-singer Allan Combs will perform at Hungry Run Wine Bar and Bistro in Lewistown on Saturday.

Holiday market at Reedsville Lutheran Church, Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 200 E. Logan St., Reedsville. Work on your holiday shopping list.

Arts and Crafts Festival, Mifflin-Juniata Regional Services Corp. – Hosted by The Care Network, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Lewistown Senior Center, 515 Knepp Ave., Lewistown. Arts and crafts are on display and available for purchase, as well as a basket raffle and food trucks on site. The event benefits senior centers and Centers on the Move in Mifflin and Juniata counties.

Winter Wonderland Craft and Vendor Show, hosted by Mifflin County Penn Roosevelt Camp, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Mifflin County Youth Park, 110 W. Logan St. .,Reedsville. Local food trucks, crafts and art vendors on site. Entrance and parking are free.

Trunk or Treat, Friday 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Church Hill United Methodist Church, 199 Woodland Circle, Reedsville.

Spirits Among Us: Ghost Stories of Lewistown, narrated by author and historian Forest Fisher, Sunday at 2 p.m., St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 21 S. Main St., Lewistown. Hear about the watery grave of the Juniata River and the horrors that lurk below in The Legend of Cotter’s Hole; learn about the Beast of Bixler’s Gap, cursed by his witch connections to wander the local wilderness forever; and Spirits Among Us, the story of the ghostly nocturnal events that haunt Mifflin County’s Historic Courthouse and their possible causes. Plus a bonus story: Remember the story of the missing bones of a Revolutionary War General “Crazy Anthony” Wayne dispersed into the Kishacoquillas Valley. Entry is free. Donations will be accepted for hurricane relief.

Stone Arch Cast Presents ‘The Hitchin’ Post’

What do you get when you mix a couple who runs off with a small South Texas country store, a meddling mother and her secretary, a bumbling robber, a suspicious sheriff, and a grumpy, grumpy old lady? Of course you see the hilarious presentation of the Stone Arch Players. “Hitchin Police Station!” To capture “Hitchin’s Mail” at the Park Theater at Kishacoquillas Park in Lewistown, Friday and Saturday, November 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16 at 7:30 p.m.; and on Sundays, November 10 and 17, at 2 p.m. General admission tickets cost $15.
