Fultondale was forfeited three games and placed on probation for violating the AHSAA Transfer Rule.

The Wildcats will miss the Class 4A playoffs. The AHSAA announced the news Wednesday night.

Fultondale defeated Hamilton, Fayette County and Cordova to drop its overall record to 3-6 and its District 5 record to 2-5.

An AHSAA statement said the Wildcats played ineligible players and compensated those players for contests they entered while ineligible.

The Fultondale losses moved Fayette County from Region 5 into the playoffs along with Good Hope, Dora and Hamilton. The 2024 play-offs start next week.

Last week AHSAA announced violations Coosa Christian And Pike Liberal Arts.
