LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a two-vehicle crash four miles north of San Ygnacio.

The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, and resulted in a head-on collision between a Ford F-150 and a Chevrolet Silverado.

According to DPS, the man driving the Ford F-150 was killed, as was the male passenger of the Chevy Silverado.

However, they said the man driving the Silverado was taken to a Laredo hospital for treatment.

An investigation is currently ongoing into what caused the accident.
