Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town and Leicester City will face each other for a big match at Portman Road on Saturday.

WATCH IPSWICH – LEICESTER LIVE

Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich side are still searching for their first win of the season but are making things extremely difficult for teams every time they step onto the pitch and having drawn four of their nine games so far. Tractor Boys lost 4-3 to Brentford after taking a 2-0 lead at the last break, but they have plenty of exciting forwards in Omari Hutchinson, Liam Delap and Sammie Szmodics, all of whom have impressed early this season. If they can pick things up at the back, Ipswich will surely pick up their first win very soon.

Leicester have the best of the three newly promoted teams in terms of points, with nine of them listed so far. However, they lost 3-1 at home to fierce rivals Nottingham Forest last Friday and Steve Cooper’s team are now taking one step forward and one step back. Their team has a lot of Premier League experience but they struggle with consistency, even though Facundo Buonanotte and Jamie Vardy are in great attacking form. Which Leicester team will attend Ipswich this weekend?

Ipswich team news, focus

Tratcor Boys have major injury problems and Delap and Szmodics will be attacking once again. Ipswich need to shore things up defensively and that is key to getting something out of the massive play underneath.

Out: Janoi Donacien (groin), Axel Tuanzebe (hand), Massimo Luongo (ankle), Jacob Greaves (undisclosed), Jack Taylor (other), Harry Clarke (pension), Chiedozie Ogbene (Achilles) | SUSPECT: Benjamin Johnson (thigh), Omari Hutchinson (illness), Sam Morsy (thigh)

Leicester team news, focus

The Foxes are conceding too many goals and this is not like a Steve Cooper team. Ayew, Vardy and Buonanotte are scoring goals and looking very good but Leicester need to be more consistent. So far this season they have fluctuated greatly in terms of performance levels throughout the game in both halves.

Out: Patson Daka (ankle), Jakub Stolarczyk (ankle), Victor Kristiansen (groin), Hamza Choudhury (shoulder)

Ipswich-Leicester prediction

This shows that neither team will get the win they need. While Ipswich are struggling with injuries and a slight lack of confidence, Leicester are not consistent enough. Both teams have dangerous players on offense but look questionable in the backfield. Ipswich 2-2 Leicester.
