CNN senior political data correspondent Harry Enten ticked off various signs indicating he was a former President Donald Trump Can beat the Vice President Kamala Harris In Wednesday’s presidential election, they even went so far as to call it an “obvious” outcome.

Enten joins CNN anchor John Berman To analyze the factors working in Trump’s favor, just days before the election. Enten also said he would try to make a similar argument for the other side later this week.

Democrats’ first big problem EntenIt is the voters’ satisfaction with the course of the country. Enten noted that, according to a series of surveys, incumbent parties re-elected since the 1980 presidential election have received an average approval rating of around 42 percent for the direction of the country. Enten explained that when incumbent parties lose, the average is around 25%. According to Enten, the current average is 28%.

“As a result, few Americans think the country is on the right track at this point. It tracks the time the ruling party loses rather than (when) it wins. “In fact, I’ve gone through history, there’s not a single time when 28 percent of the American people thought the country was going in the right direction and the incumbent party actually won,” Enten said.

Another factor working in Republicans’ favor is that they outpace Democrats in registering voters, registering people in “very, very large numbers,” as Enten puts it. The data reporter reported that Republicans gained a lot of ground in battleground states like Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

If Trump wins, Enten said, he can’t say anyone wasn’t “warned” of that possibility.

“Republicans are putting more Republicans on the ballot, Democrats are outnumbered by Republicans, and as a result if Republicans win next week, if Donald Trump wins next week, the signs will be clear from the beginning.” he said. “We’re seeing that the direction is very low, Joe Biden’s approval rating is very low, and Republicans are really recording the numbers. You can’t say you weren’t warned.”

CNNs Kate Bolduan Following the report, he told his colleague Enten that Trump was “a very scary guy” at times with his “delivery” after charting his path to victory.

“It’s not even the content, but sometimes Harry’s delivery is so – so scary,” he joked. “You are a very scary man.”
