LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – Laredo police officers responded to a report of a “man down” Tuesday night, October 29, and found an unresponsive woman in a parked car.

Around 10:01 p.m., officers went to the 100 block of W. Lyon Street. They spoke to the caller and he said the woman sat in the driver’s seat with the door open for about two hours.

Officers found 58-year-old Korina Bretado in the car. They saw a bag with a white powdery substance on the ground. After taking Narcan, a drug that reverses overdoses, Brettado woke up.

He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. The investigation is still ongoing.
