The suspect behind the shocking murder of an artist at a luxury New York wellness retreat was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his Pennsylvania home, police said.

Suffolk County Police were searching for 56-year-old Thomas Gannon in connection with the murder of 33-year-old Brooklyn artist Sabina Rosas, who was found dead in the guest room of the Shou Sugi Ban House in Water Mill, New York.

Rosas is an artist who studied new media at Purchase College in New York and graduated in 2020, a school spokesperson confirmed.

An online biography bearing his name described him as a childhood refugee from the former Soviet Union who came to the United States in 2009 to study art.

Gannon’s LinkedIn profile described him as a small business owner. His former partner told Fox News Digital that they parted ways more than a year ago when Gannon sold his shares.

“I’m not sure what he’s up to,” he said. “It was a surprise.”
