The plan was revealed after two attackers belonging to the Bambiha gang were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell. Fire was opened at a businessman’s house in Rani Bagh, north Delhi On October 26, Kaushal Chaudhary was the mastermind of the incident. Sources said that he wanted to strengthen his gang by collecting money through extortion so that he could kill Lawrence Bishnoi.

Kaushal Chaudhary’s assistant Pawan Shokeen, who lives in Sacramento, California, USA, ordered both attackers to search the businessman’s house in Delhi and open fire.

Following the dismissal, the businessman was asked to pay a ransom of Rs 15 million, failing which he would face dire consequences, and sources said he was ready to pay the amount.

Kaushal Chaudhary is acutely aware that if he fails to kill Lawrence Bishnoi, he will be killed. Kaushal Chaudhary formed the Bambiha gang for years to establish dominance over the Bishnoi gang and sent Pawan Shokeen to the US to manage the gang’s operations there.

Interestingly, Lawrence Bishnoi, lodged in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail, had told the NIA during past interrogation that Kaushal Chaudhary was on the hit list. According to NIA sources, Lawrence Bishnoi wants to kill Kaushal Chaudhary at any cost as he believes that he can challenge the Bambiha gang.

Kaushal Chaudhary, who was deported from Thailand and brought to India in 2019, is a resident of Gurugram. He has serious murder charges against him. NIA has tightened the noose around him and raided his gang’s hideouts several times.
