The Chicago Bulls are no stranger to trade rumors. Whether it’s Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic or Lonzo Ball, the names of most key members of the roster have been rumored for more than a season.

It’s gotten to the point where Chicago Bulls star Nikola Vucevic no longer lets rumors affect his mentality. Vucevic knows that failing to meet a team’s expectations is part of the game.

In an interview with Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Vucevic addressed trade rumors surrounding his name.

“We did not play well in the last few years, we did not achieve our goals as a team, so change was inevitable,” Vucevic said. “I see and hear the rumors. People in my life talk to me about it, but I don’t get too involved in it. I think if something happened or it got serious, they would come to me and talk to me, but I’m not thinking about that right now.”

As of now, the Chicago Bulls are in a period of uncertainty. As in other seasons, the team is torn between competing and tanking. Currently, it is too early to tell which direction the team will go due to the team’s 2-2 record. One thing is for sure, a lot of trade rumors will re-emerge when things get worse.
