Fordham said he was told that a group of male students were holding a “mock trial on a fellow student.”

“It was held in a meeting room on the ground floor. There were students in Kangaroo Court posing as judges, defense attorneys and prosecutors,” Fordham said.

It is claimed that the students examined the “evidence” against the defendant and “filed a lawsuit” for the child to be “verbally harassed”.

“At first I was told it was light-hearted and the victim was okay with it, but then things started to spiral,” Fordham said.

“The student who played the role of the judge gave the verdict of guilty. The victim started talking and the judge said, ‘Gag the defendant’s mouth!’ he shouted.

“Another student then gagged the victim and he was unable to speak.”

Fordham claimed that the item used to gag the student was a sex toy purchased from an adult store.

A student reportedly came and told St Paul’s College what had happened.

CCTV footage was used to identify students who allegedly attended the mock trial.

9news.com.au has contacted St Paul’s College for comment on the new allegations.

Yesterday, university director Dr. Ed Loane told 9news.com.au the university was “shocked and deeply disappointed” after “some of our students engaged in serious bullying of another student within their friendship group”.

“This behavior is contrary to our values ​​and standards. When we learned of this and conducted a thorough investigation, our response was to deport the perpetrators and remove bystanders who did not intervene.

“We provide support and care to the victim of this incident. Our students receive anti-bullying and harassment training when they enter the College.”

St Paul’s College was founded in 1856 and is Australia’s oldest residential university college.

It was all-male until it became a shared residence hall in 2023 and consists of approximately 300 undergraduate students.

The university says on its website that it strives to “promote intellectual leadership, academic excellence, moral responsibility, and civic values.”
