Man dies after shooting that injured 4 people in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala.(WSFA) – One of the victims of the shooting that injured many people in Montgomery has died.

Officers were called to a local hospital around 6.15pm on Wednesday, October 23. three men and two teenagers He was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police stated that two of the injured were not life-threatening and the other was not life-threatening.

The critically injured victim was identified as 22-year-old Eldren Wright of Montgomery. Police said he was pronounced dead on Tuesday, October 29.

Police determined the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive.

Police initially said that one of the teenagers’ gunshot wound was life-threatening, but that the other teenager’s gunshot wound was not life-threatening. No additional updates on their condition have been released.

The Montgomery Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation.
