PORTLAND, Oregon. (KPTV) – One person was killed and another was injured when two cars crashed in northeast Portland Monday morning.

Around 6:40 a.m., officers were called to a crash near Northeast Halsey Avenue and Northeast 118th Street. The teams arriving at the scene found that one person had died. The name of the deceased has not yet been released.

A second person was taken to area hospitals for treatment. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
