Torquay United have signed Yeovil Town striker Jordan Young for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old former Scotland international has signed a deal to stay at Plainmoor until the summer of 2027.

Young started his career at Swindon Town and also had spells at Coventry City before moving out of the league with Gloucester City and Chippenham Town.

He transferred to Yeovil in January 2023 and scored 16 goals last season as the Glovers won the National League South title.

Torquay boss Paul Wotton told the club’s website: “Jordan is a player who excelled for Yeovil in the National League South last season and has been very, very good for Yeovil in the National League this season.”

“He is a player who brings creativity, pace and quality to the team.”
