Round-based Zombies return to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with two new maps. Both launch maps feature a main story, and here we guide you through all the steps needed to complete the Liberty Falls main quest.

How to start the Liberty Falls main quest?

The Liberty Falls story adventure can be completed alone or with a team, although some steps will be made easier with teammates.

First, you’ll need to spend the first few rounds unlocking the full map. Getting to Pack-a-Punchand crafting the map’s Awesome Jetgun.

Once you’ve opened the church, you’ll want to: interact with the machine is located on the right side. This will give you some story dialogue.

Once you interact with the machine in the room again, you will be guided through the next steps to create the Great Wonder needed to proceed.

Craft a Jetgun Cool Weapon

Liberty Falls features a new and improved version of the Jetgun from Black Ops 2’s TranZit map, and this version of the Wonder Weapon is much more satisfying to use and won’t break you.

There are a few steps required to collect all the pieces, but we have a complete guide on that. Here’s how to make a Jetgun. Alternatively, you might get lucky and get the Jetgun from the Mystery Box, but your chances are slim.

Collect LTG Device parts

The Jetgun needs to reach LTG parts that cannot be reached using the vacuuming function of the gun. (Holding the correct trigger)

First, take the Jetgun to the church. Interact with the machine inside again. Then, look around the balcony to find a piece that looks like a floating hat. sweep the hat With Jetgun.

A second part can be found in Ollie’s comic shop. Step inside and look up. there is a floating part in the hole in the ceiling. Sweep it with the jetgun.

Another piece can be found at the barbershop near Speed ​​Cola. You’ll need to jump from the nearby roof onto the top of the truck parked outside the shop. This allows you to sweep the piece from the upper right window of the barber shop.

Create the LTG device

Once all three LTG pieces are collected you can now head to the roof of the bank. Just unlock and use the steel rope or riser attached to the roof. There is a special crafting bench on the roof just for this device.

Using the LTG device

Get an Aether box

After building the LTG, go back to the church. Interact with the machine again buy an Aether box. The person holding this item will become heavy and move slowly.

Take the box to one of the two Dark Aether storms on the map. There’s one in the cemetery, and the other is just to the right of the Pump and Pay gas station. The order doesn’t matter here, but we will start the guide from the gas station.

Collect an HVT essence

Place your can near the trap at the gas station. Then interact with the trap piece directly below the purple storm. Doing this will ground the LTG device.

This will cause zombies to spawn for a period of 60 seconds. During this period, you need to protect your device from being damaged by zombies. The device will then turn red and create the HVT a portal. This enemy will either be a Mengler or an Abomination.

You We need to weaken but not kill use HVT immediately. Lower the health and take the HVT back to the box you placed near the trap. HVT emits purple sparks when health is low enough. When this happens, you need to activate the trap quickly. Necessary kill the HVT near the box while the trap is still active.

Since HVT’s essence is now caught in the trap, you must collect that box and take it back to the church. This step is timed In 90 seconds, and you’re still moving slowly carrying it, so hurry towards the church.

Insert the filled Aether box

Put this box back into the machine inside the church. Once the box is placed, a tray in the machine will dispense a new item to be picked up. This is called the Strauss Counter. Catch him.

Use Strauss Counter

The Strauss Counter is used to synchronize three elements on the map that resemble old-style movie projectors. Using the Strauss Counter is the same button prompt as activating your tactical equipment, and you’ll want to activate it while standing next to each of these small devices.

The Strauss Counter will give you a color that can be green, yellow or red. Interact with the projector device on the floor until it matches the color displayed on your Strauss Bench. Repeat this step for all three devices. These are found as follows:

Near the tool shed

Behind the white house on Church Street, near the Gardener’s Tool Shed.

Underneath the roof of the bank. Go to the main roof of the bank and then drop down to the lower ledge.

Once all devices are synced to the correct color, a purple beam will shoot out from them in the direction of the gas station. This points to the next place you need to go.

Notes: This step was oddly inaccurate for my game. All devices were synchronized with the corresponding color but nothing happened. We advanced the round and then tried to get them all back to green to reset. When they all turned green the devices were turned on and working. So if they don’t enable the color combination in Strauss Counter, try this.

Fill the second Aether box

A new Aether box has appeared at the gas station. Take this.

Then, when you catch the first essence, make sure to pick up the LTG Device from the trap you left it in.

Take the LTG and the box to the cemetery. This is the same process as before in HVT. This will be either a Vise or an Abomination, whichever you didn’t get as HVT the first time.

Place the box near one of the graveyard traps in the alley outside the church, and then place the LTG on the trap piece at the bottom of the storm. Fight zombies in LTG for 60 seconds until HVT appears.

Weaken HVT, but don’t kill right away. Be sure to take him to the can and corner him on the street. This HVT should also spark purple when weak. Activate the trap and make sure he dies while the trap is active to collect the essence into the box.

Take this full box to church and put it in the machine before the timer runs out. but do not interact with the machine again.

Once the box is placed the machine will ask you to interact with the box, but this will start the boss fight. Now you’ll want to increase your gear before facing the boss.

Preparation for boss fight

If you can complete all the steps before round 25, you should be able to get by with level 2 armor and level 2 Pack-a-Punched weapons. You’ll want at least basic perks like Juggernog and Quick Revive. Consider self-resuscitation if possible.

Useful equipment includes Trap bombs and Monkey Bombs to distract zombies. Napalm ammo mod will help against larger enemies. Don’t bother with aerial killstreaks since you’ll be inside. Try using sentry guns or Mutant Injection instead.

Shotguns and LGMs with high ammo counts can be useful here.

boss fight

This takes place inside the church, so you don’t have a lot of leeway. This fight is played in three waves.

The first wave clears out a ton of zombies, then you get an elite Mangler, and finally an elite Abomination. Survive and clear the waves.

Once the fight is over, there will be a warning that your entire team will be knocked out. So don’t panic. This gives you one last cutscene. Liberty Falls’ main Easter egg is now complete.
