Swiggy has introduced ‘Swiggy Pawlice’, a new feature that aims to help pet owners find their lost pets through the company’s extensive delivery network. Available on the Swiggy app, this initiative allows pet owners to report a lost pet, while Swiggy’s delivery partners also act as extra eyes on the lookout.

What Will Swiggy Pawlice Do?

Through the app, pet owners can send details and photos of their lost pets. Swiggy’s delivery fleet of over 350,000 partners who are constantly on the move will help monitor neighbourhoods. If the delivery partner detects the missing pet, he or she notifies Swiggy’s dedicated team, who then informs the pet owner of the exact details and location so that the pet parent can carry out the reunion.

Swiggy also appreciates delivery partners who go out of their way to help with these searches and rewards them for their efforts. This initiative underscores Swiggy’s commitment to community support and gives pet owners additional hope in reuniting with their beloved pets.

How to Use Swiggy Pawlice?

To find Swiggy Pawlice services, follow these steps:

1. Open the Swiggy app. Make sure you are logged in and saved your location (you can allow Swiggy to access your current location and the app will do the needful).

2. Go to Search and search ‘Pawlice’.

3. You will see Swiggy Pawlice choice. Tap on it

4. You will be greeted with an introductory page on how to use the app and what to expect from the service.

5. Scroll down, click Find My Pet button.

6. An online Google form will open and request details such as your name, contact information, description of your pet, breed information, last seen location and other details.

7. You can also upload a photo of your pet and finally tap the icon. To send.

However, Swiggy also advises you to report it to the right authorities. Additionally, the date of your loss must be within 2 weeks of the date you last saw your pet. It should be noted that Swiggy Pawlice may not be available across India.
