VINTON, La. (KPLC) – A portion of Foreman Road in Vinton will be closed starting Monday, October 28th through Thursday, October 31st, weather permitting.

According to the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury (CPPJ), La. heading eastbound on Foreman Road, Horseman Road. 109 South will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

According to CPPJ, closures are necessary to remove trees.

Turn signs will be posted and only local residents’ traffic will be allowed in the closed area.

Motorists heading west on Foreman Road should head north on Horseman Road, then west on Delta Downs Drive to La. 109 should head towards the South.

La. Motorists heading north on 109 South should continue north past Foreman Road to Delta Downs Drive, go east to Horseman Road, then go south on Horseman Road to Foreman Road.

Motorists traveling south on Horseman Road should go east on Foreman Road to Leo Breaux Road, then go south on US 90.

Motorists are asked to expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.
