Food truck whose theft was caught on camera was recovered in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE – The owner of E’s Blufox Eatery, a mobile food business in Milwaukee, said thieves stole the trailer in which he ran his business.

Damon Tate, who owns the truck with Irsha Coleman, shared surveillance video with TMJ4 News that shows a driver getting into a pickup truck and then driving off with the trailer.

The truck was stolen from the area of 39th Street and Villard on Friday and was found the next day near 28th Street and Locust, Tate said.

Tate said he was relieved to have his trailer back, but some items were missing.

He stated that the generator, slush machine and television were missing.

It’s unclear when E’s Blufox Eatery will reopen, but the small business owner has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help in the meantime.
