One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a stabbing in East Vancouver on Sunday.

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 200 block of Keefer Street, off Main Street, the Vancouver Police Department said in a statement on social media platform X just before 1 p.m.

“The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries,” it says.

Police say no arrests have been made and the cause of the incident is unknown at this time.

“Officers are gathering evidence and more information will be released as it becomes available,” the post said.
