ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. A 5-year-old boy was taken to All Children’s Hospital after being struck by a car Sunday afternoon, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.

Authorities say the boy was found near 18th Ave South and Prescott St. He said he was hit by a vehicle on the street. St. Pete Just before 3:30 p.m., the 5-year-old boy was seriously injured, according to police.

The driver remained at the scene of the crash and is cooperating with investigators, according to authorities.
